Four additinal lots

I am incredibly pleased and happy to announce that I just received approval from the San Miguel County Board of Commissioners for four additional lots! We are calling the new phase Hawk's Landing at Birds of a Feather. The lots are two plus acres in size and are absolutely gorgeous with many large pine trees (mostly Pinion, but some Ponderosa and Cedar)and are located on a ridge overlooking National Forest land and the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. I am hoping to have them priced for sale in the next couple months. I must first get bids on completing the remaining infrastructure improvements such as trenching for extending the underground electric, telephone and water lines. The well that will serve these lots already services my home and the roads are already developed.

Currently, there is also an opportunity to purchase smaller re-sale lots in our community! A few of our lot owners have recently had their hopes of living here dashed of living here because of the current state of the economy and real estate market. The lots that are being offered are 1/4 to one-acre in size and also have many large pine trees and magnificent views! The one-acre lots are also located on a ridge and the smaller lots are nestled along a meadow. It is difficult to describe just how beautiful these lots are because the surrounding views are so amazing. It is best to come out and visit us and see for yourself.

The community currently has eight occupied homes. A couple of our residents are part-timers as their homes are second homes. We also have a few people that work from their homes using our wireless internet system and some are retired. There are many social activities in the community both indoors and outdoors. This past winter has brought more snow than is usual in the high desert, so many residents have purchased snow shoes and have been hiking around our 160 acre property. I have heard that the reason for the amount of snow this year is because it's an el nino system. But don't worry, we still have an average of 320 days of sunshine! It really doesn't feel as cold or grey compared to places like my home state of Minnesota.

So, please come and meet our residents and tour the property and community. We would love to meet you!
