Has it been 6 months?
Wow... I can't believe that it has been six months since my last update! Time certainly does fly. I have been extremely busy finishing up all of the loose ends of Phase I, getting settled in my new home, beginning work on Phase II and watching the community really develop... both with homes and new relationships.
We had 15 of the 19 lot owners in Phase I gathered over Labor Day Weekend for a party at my house and a picnic the following day. It is wonderful to see how everybody is bonding and coming together as a community! What a thrill for me after working on making the community a reality for the past 13 years! We have gorgeous property, but it is the people that really make the community.
I finally have unpacked enough to get some decent pictures of my new EcoNest. I am posting them today, so check out Bonnie's EcoNest category of our photo tour pages. I'm very pleased with my new home and love living in the community! I apologize again for the delay in posting finished EcoNest photos.
I'm getting many requests for tours of our "model homes" and the community. Actually, once a lot is purchased, the owners contract directly with one of our preferred builders to build their home, so we don't have any model homes. Homes may be custom designed or you may choose a pre-designed floor plan such as our 1620 sq. ft. casita. There will be more options in Phase II for smaller and larger lots as well as some 1200 to 1400 sq. ft. EcoNests that will be pre-designed, too. I'm hoping that the approval process will go quickly and smoothly and that I can begin lot sales next year.
