Finally taken flight!
Birds of a Feather has finally taken flight! Everything continues to take a little bit longer than expected, but it is happening! Contractors have been busy digging trenches for power, telephone and water lines during the past 6 weeks and they have finally begun laying the cable. The plumber has begun installation of the water lines and we anticipate completion of everything except the roads by mid-August. After the roads are completed, we can start some of the fun stuff like landscaping in the community areas!
I have been adding pictures of our trenches for utilities to the photo tour page ... not very exciting, but it is progress.There are also some picures of our custom-made street signs which turned out fabulous! It's hard to see in the pictures, but each sign has a silhouette of a bird sitting on top of the sign. Check them out! There are also some pictures of recent visitors to Birds.
We have closed on the first two lots and two more have gone under contract during the past week.You can check on availability of home sites by clicking on the Home Sites button on our Home Page. I try to keep it fairly up to date. Inquiries about our community have really picked up this summer and I have showings scheduled regularly through September.
