Happy Labor Day!

I can't believe that summer is almost over. We have completed all of the rough cutting and shaping of roads for Phase I. Electricity is at the entrance gate and our first well was completed and tested over a year ago. There is a plentiful long-term supply of great water available.

The clearing required for the roads has opened up some very dramatic views of the Sangre de Cristo mountains that surround the property! I will add some new pictures of the roads to the photo tour page in the next week or so.

I have also submitted street name choices to San Miguel County for approval at their next hearing. Here are the finalists: Main road from entrance to future community center is Silver Feather Trail. First casita road is Colibri Court (Colibri is Hummingbird in Spanish) and the second casita road is Wild Wings Circle. The single family loop is Red Tail Ridge. Hope you like the names!

Final edits to the brochure are being completed this week. The brochures should be available by the end of September. If you are interested in receiving one, please drop us a line. If you have visited the property you will automatically be sent one. We will also start taking lot reservations in the next week or two. The time will be announced on the website and also in our next online newsletter.

During the next month, we have women visiting from Puerto Rico, New York, Colorado, Texas, Minnesota and Georgia. Please let us know if you are interested in scheduling a time to visit us! There are lots of fun things to do in the fall in Santa Fe... the Wine & Chile Fiesta is at the end of September, as well as the High Road to Taos Art Tour. The Hot Air Balloon Festival in Albuquerque is October 5th to the 13th.
