Tragedy and joy
We are shocked and deeply saddened by the tragic events that unfolded today. We sincerely hope that this finds you and your loved ones well. For those of you who lost family or friends to this horrific event, you have our deepest sympathy and heartfelt thoughts.
Despite the tragedy today, the County Commissioners held their hearing as planned.
After waiting so long for the cherished approval to begin developing Birds of a Feather's new community, I felt little joy when the commission voted unanimously to approve our plans. I will write more about the meeting and timing of the development in the next few days when the shock of today's events has subsided a bit and we have all had time to reflect and grieve our loss.
