The approval process, again
Wish I had more news to report, but now it's just a matter of going thru the approval process once again! The new hydrology report by Glorieta Geoscience was just completed and submitted to San Miguel County. The County submitted it to the State Engineers Office and now they have 30 days to review the report and make a recommendation back to San Miguel County.
We anticipate a favorable recommendation from the State since the new hydrology report is even better than the last one! We will then have to appear before the planning and zoning commission again. We have addressed all of the concerns raised at the last meeting so. hopefully, we will also receive a recommendation for approval from P & Z.
We will then have the long-awaited (1+ years) hearing before the County Commissioners. Please continue to send your positive thoughts and energy. It's only a matter of time until Birds' new community becomes a reality!
