Brand new website!
Wow... it's hard to believe that we have finally launched this brand new website! Our original website was created about 15 years ago when I began this project. It just kept growing and growing to the point where it was a patchwork of old and new technology and lots and lots of old photos and information. Despite my best attempts at keeping it fresh and up-to-date, it just got to the point of needing an entirely new face lift. The community has come such a long way since I purchased the property in 1999 and I felt that it was time to show more of where we are today rather than the beginning stages and the very long journey to get to this point. The news archives going back to 2000 are still available at the bottom of this page for any of you interested in learning more about the journey to make my dream of creating community a reality.
I hope that you enjoy all of the new photos of our residents and their homes. We really have become family as you will see from all of the photos of celebrations and events in the community these past few years! I also hope that you find the links to information about the surrounding areas helpful for vacationing or even making a decision about whether or not this might be the right community for you. Of course, we invite you to visit us... tour the community and visit with our residents.
We are also moving forward by offering the first four lots in Phase II, called Hawk's Landing at Birds of a Feather, and some of the re-sale lots in Phase I at reduced prices to better reflect the current state of the economy and real estate markets. The lot prices have never before been reduced or negotiated, but it is our desire to continue the growth of our community, so we are "biting the bullet" so to speak, and providing an opportunity for you to purchase a lot at never before offered prices! Lot financing is available for qualified buyers at our local bank, so please call us for more information. There are pictures of all of the available lots available in Phase I and Phase II in our photo gallery. Most lots border green space and have magnificent views of the surrounding Sangre de Cristo Mountains. Unfortunately, the photos don't capture the views... they must be seen in person.
