Incredibly busy spring!

I was just reading the last update in April and realized that I missed a May update as well as March! It has been an incredibly busy spring! I have recently put two more lots under contract, leaving two fabulous single family lots (12 & 14) left in Phase I. There won't be any lots available for another year or so because I must go through the approval process once again before I can begin any future lot sales! Please let me know if you're interested in scheduling a visit before they're all gone!

The EcoNest workshop to build the timber-frame and straw/clay walls of my home was held from May 18th to the 21st. The EcoNest Building Company and their apprentices from France, Canada and Santa Fe put up my timber-frame. The apprentices are learning this eco-friendly building technique to take home and teach to others around the country and the world! I then had friends from Minnesota, Ohio and Santa Fe, as well as several future residents assist with building my straw/clay walls! There were close to 30 people involved in the workshop! Please visit my photo tour pages to see pictures from the workshop and also current pictures of my "nest". I haven't had enough time to do captions for the photos yet, but wanted to get the photos up as soon as possible. Hopefully, I'll find a few hours in the next week or so to identify the photos. Thanks to everyone who participated in building my home... it was much like an old-fashioned community barn-raising must have been... a very community oriented and bonding experience with friends and future neighbors!

Two lots (6 & 9) are currently under contract and should close in the next month if all goes well! Our latest buyers are from California... Marcia & Candice (lot 6) and Massachusetts... Gail & Julie (lot 9). Welcome to our "flock"!
