Slowly but surely

Everything is moving along, although slowly. We are continuing to work on all of the legal requirements required to file our final plat. Things such as disclosure statements, covenants and restrictions, letters of credit or bonds and many other details. We have also spent time on the issue of the community center assessment for Phase I. Since we don't plan on starting the community center until after receiving approval for Phase II, we don't want to make an assessment on lots in Phase I until we're closer to having a center for resident's use. So, the solution seems to be to wait until Phase II is approved before making any assessment. We'll talk more about that in the next newsletter.

We have completed a tri-fold brochure and are now putting the finishing touches on a more complete brochure with lots of information and pricing. It should be ready in July at about the same time that we anticipate the start of lot and home sales! It's a fabulous piece with original art from our talented artist, Donna Davis, and we are very eager to have it available for our potential future residents.

I have been very busy showing the property to women from all over the country. It's a tough job, but someone has to do it! It is so much fun to meet such interesting women and do a little hiking at the same time. If you would like to visit Birds and choose your lot, please e-mail or call to schedule a time.
