And the saga continues....

Our attorney, Rosanna Vazquez and hydrologist, Jay Lazarus had an informal meeting with County officials about our new well and subsequent hydrology report. We were hoping that since the report confirmed previously submitted evidence of long-term water supply that the county attorney would agree to let us proceed to a public hearing with the County Commissioners.

Unfortunately, we must now go back to the State agencies for review and then to Planning and Zoning before our hearing with the Commissioners. This will add at least another 3 months to the process. The good news is that they were very impressed with the new hydrology report. Proving adequate long-term water supply is by far the most important aspect of receiving approval to go forward.

In the meantime, please tell your friends about Bird's new community and if you haven't already taken our housing survey, please do. We are very interested in what type of housing you want in your community! We will also be adding development team "bios" for our newest team members in the next few days.

We know that everyone is waiting for information about the cost of lots and homes. We are unable to price the lots until we receive approval for our proposed lot sizes. Upon receiving preliminary approval, we will do lot surveys and begin taking reservations for lots.
