Birds of a Feather added twenty-six lots to our community in Phase II (called Hawk's Landing) for a total of 44 lots in Phases I & II. You may choose to build one of our architect-designed homes called Los Nidos (“the nests”), our newest "Little House" floor plan or create your custom designed home. Choose the perfect size lot for your future home site. Although all of these lots have already been sold, there are still several beautiful re-sale lots available in both phases. These lots range in size from 1/4 acre to 3+ acres.

Choose from our 1275 (Chickadee) or 1425 sq. ft. (Bluebird) or (Little House) 990 sq. ft. architect-designed floor plans or design your custom home. Then choose your favorite pine-forested home site ranging in size from .44 to three + acres. Next, decide how to "feather your nest" with your choice of interior finishes!  Choose your favorite home style... Southwestern/Pueblo flat roof or Northern New Mexico pitched roof designs. Or... design your own home. Contemporary designs are also allowed.

If you aren't quite ready to move to your new home, you may purchase a lot now and take up to five years to begin construction.

Los Nidos homes were designed in collaboration with local architect, David Madden of EcoNest Design, Santa Fe, LLC and Mark Giorgetti of Palo Santo Designs, LLC to create a healthy and energy efficient home sanctuary.

The Chickadee floorplan includes 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, fireplace, double-car garage and large outdoor covered portals. The larger Bluebird floorplan includes an office/den.

Lot prices* include all underground utilities (shared well, electric & telephone) and a shared state-of-the-art advanced nitrate waste-water treatment system. Wireless internet service is currently available. DSL is coming soon!

We currently have seven builders on our approved list for you to choose from to build your home.  You can trust any of our builders to use proven building methods with techniques and technologies that assure maximum energy efficiency, water conservation, land stewardship, indoor air quality and comfort!
